I just mounted a model 700 barrel and action to a h&s precision stock and there recommendation was 63 in lbs. It may vary if your stock is wood or after market composite.I have seen recommendations for anywhere from 36 in lbs up to 63.

Yes..... caliber specific ammo must meet SAAMI specs and will work in all standard firearms of same caliber. I shoot all rem's but I like silvertips, only Win.....be careful of reloads regardless of manufacturer, because once fired the brass conforms to the specific barrel in which it was fired. hope helps

I don't know what specs you are asking for but the only specs I find in my factory service manual are bolt torque specs. They are: Mounting bolt, 2.5L 4cyl is: 20 ft lbs. Mounting bolt, 2.8V6 is: 18 ft. lbs "O" ring fitting is 55 ft. lbs. If anyone else has more info feel free to add it on.
