Use the following sequence in order to tighten the cylinder head:
The cylinder head bolt torque specs for a 1995 Chevy S10 2.2L are as follows: 1st: Torque the long bolts to 46 ft lbs, short bolts to 43 ft lbs 2nd: Turn all bolts an additional 90 degrees
what are the torque specks for 85 Chevy s10 with a 2.5 engine
I came to this stupid site to get answers not to give them. What a waste of time.
The torque setting for the pressure plate on the clutch for an s10 2.2 is 33 foot pounds. The torque for the 4.3 is 29 foot pounds.
For the 1996 Chevy S-10 4.3 liter, the torque specs for the crankshaft damper bolts is 70 ft. lbs. For the cylinder head bolts, the torque is 65 ft. lbs, and for the engine mount-to-head bolts, the torque is 35 ft. lbs. For the engine mount-to-frame bolts, the torque is 52 ft. lbs.
90psi
the torque is 25 foot pounds
33 ft lbs of torque
As for powertrains, the series begins with a 2.2-liter in-line-four base engine that's good for 120 hp at 5000 rpm and torque of 140 lb-ft at 4600 rpm.
I have the same truck and just ordered a new set of head bolts. It says 18.8 lbs. You may want to double check elsewhere though as will I.
you don't have to have the head checked but its recommended. the head bolts are supposed to be torqued in counterclockwise order from the inside bolts to the outside bolts. torque them in order in three stages to 18 ft/lbs then to 27 ft/lbs then an additional 120 degrees except the front right stud which you torque to 90 degrees
