Disneyland Rides (Attractions)How many rides there are at Disneyland depends on who you ask. Many Disneyland trivia buffs love to answer this question, and when their unsuspecting victim wagers a guess anywhere in teens and up, they quickly retort: "there is only one ride at Disneyland!" Because Walt and Disneyland officially refer to rides as "attractions," the only true "ride" in the park is "Mr. Toad's Wild Ride."

However, this is problematic because as you leave the station while riding on Big Thunder Mountain Rail Road, you hear the narrator proclaim: "Hang onto your hats and glasses, folks, cause this here's the wildest ride in the wilderness!" One would be hard pressed not to call Big Thunder Mountain Rail Road a ride when the narrator calls it as such.

According to Disneyland, as of March 2008, there are 55 official "attractions" in Disneyland. However, many of those would not be considered "rides".

If we only consider what you could arguable call a "ride," then Disneyland has 36 rides:
