Identify your truck body and drive train. It's different for 4x2 or 4x4 and different for Regular cab, Double cab or Crewmax cab. The length of the bed also had a bearing on the tow capacity. Does it have the TOW Package? All of this determines the tow rating of the 2008 Tundra. It could be anywhere from 9000 lbs to 6700lbs.
