2000- 3000 lbs depening on the gear ratio
The towing capacity of a 1997 Chevy Tahoe 4 door 4 wheel drive truck with a 3.73 gear ratio is 7,000 pounds.
The standard towing capacity of this 1996 Ford F-250 4x4 is 10,000 pounds. This is for the 7.5 Liter engine.
The towing capacity for the 2003 Volkswagen Jetta wagon is not listed as it is not recommended due to small gear ratio. The transmission is at risk to engage in towing and is an expensive repair.
I have a 2001 Dodge Dakota 4x4 4.7L V8 auto with the 3.92 gear ratio and it is rated for 6500 lbs towing capacity.
As I recall it is 12,800#.
Depends on the rear-end gear ratio. Google "tow rating" and look at the 'Trailer Life' site. They have listings for tow ratings by the vehicles year and other specs.
As of October 11 , 2012 you can still view the 1996 Ford F-150 owners manual online at : www . motorcraft service . com ( no spaces ) Click on Owner Guides ( the trailer towing table starts on page 227 ) The towing capacity varies by engine size , differential gear ratio , automatic or manual transmission , body style , rear wheel drive or 4x4 Axle codes start on page 225 , then engine codes , then towing table
It depends on the engine you have, the 318 or the 360, and the rear differential. The lower the gear, the more towing capacity you will have. A transmission cooler usual adds towing capacity as well. My 2001 3500 van with a 360 and 4.10 rear end will tow 10,000 lbs.( I think).
Approx 5000 lbs depending upon gear ratio and the on board cargo weight. www.tralvoy.com All the answers for your Trailblazer!
That would depend on the size of the engine , the differential gear ratio , whether it's an automatic or manual transmission and whether it's two wheel drive or 4x4 etcetera - a little more information please
Depending on wheelbase and gear ratio between 5000 - 6000 lbs. An equalizer hitch may be needed. www.trailvoy.com Trailblazer enthusiasts forum
