There are many stations in Zürich. The main one, in the centre of the city where all the long-distance trains stop is 'Zürich Hauptbahnhof', often abbreviated to 'Zürich HB'. 'Hauptbahnhof is German for 'main station'.
Because it is such an important stop for travellers from outside the country, the recorded announcement on the long-distance trains is in three languages:
'Nächste Halt Zürich Hauptbahnhof. Prochain arrêt Zurich gare central. Next stop Zurich main station'.
No time at all as Zurich is in Switzerland.
get the train to zurich main station (zurich HB) and then change train to landquart then change train again to davos platz
ride train to Zurich main station. Catch tram to Bellevue or Bürkliplatz stop, or S-train to Stadelhofen and walk.
On the edge of the old town.
Unfortunately there are no longer any sleeper trains from Switzerland to Italy. You need to take a day train, and probably change in Milan.
About 10-15 minutes by train from Zürich Hauptbahnhof (Main station) to Zürich Flughafen (airport). A lot longer by car.
By train it is around 2 h 45 min (www.sbb.ch) By car it should be a little more then 2 hours
There is a railway station at Zürich airport, called "Zürich Flughafen".There are frequent trains, approximately one every 10 minutes, from there to "Zürich Hauptbahnhof", which is the main station in the centre of Zürich.
While situated at the Zurich train station, grab a giraffe, tape some californium to its neck, get onto the back of the giraffe and rotate your pelvis approxiamtely 46.5 degrees to the west. Then, inhale a Pyramidellidae sea mollusk and say "FORKIE" twenty times in a row. You will find that your internal organs (including yourself and your pulmonary artery) will be instantaneously teleported to Bassecourt Train Station.Hope this helped.Sources:I tried this myself after doing fifteen dizzy-wizzys and it worked, no joke.Answer 2Catch a train. There is at least one train per hour to and from every station in Switzerland. You can look up train times and prices on the SBB/CFF website (Swiss Federal Railways). See the link below. You will need to specify which station in Zürich you are starting from. The main station is called 'Zürich HB'.
From Vienna (Austria) to Zurich HB (Switzerland) can take from 9 to 12 hours... it's mainly crossing whole Austria from east to west just over the Swiss border. It seems that the most direct train connection takes 9h02min from Vienna to Zurich without changing. In Zurich you take any direct train (called "inter-cities") to Berne, where you change for Geneva... or you take any direct train from Zurich to Geneva, but they all pass Berne... so it's not really worthy to wait for a direct train (it doesn't last longer, you simply have to change at Berne). Zurich-Berne takes 58min and Berne-Geneva about 1h45min. That's quite exactly a journey that takes 12 hours (including waiting).
Better to take the train. 10-15 minutes by train.
627 Kilometers that's about an 8 hr drive depending on the road condition. more likely that would be the same number of hrs riding a train
