yeah. warts are catchy
Your best bet to treat a wart is use a compound W treatment on it. This will freeze the wart itself and after a couple of treatments the wart will just fall off.
Yes, warts are caused by a virus. If that virus infects the skin on your face then that is where you will get a wart.

Warts
The real answer is wart
a wart is a build up of tissue over an open wound. tou can only catch the wart virus from someone with the "virus."
All warts are caused by HPV, wherever they are found on the body. If it is not HPV, it is not, by definition, a wart, but is some other kind of bump.
Your doctor may use liquid nitrogen to freeze the wart. This treatment is called cryotherapy or cryosurgery. Applying liquid nitrogen to the wart causes a little discomfort. To completely remove a wart, liquid nitrogen treatments may be needed every 1 to 3 weeks for a total of 2 to 4 times.
Plantar warts are, by definition, warts on the bottom of your foot or toes. A wart appearing anywhere else on the body is not a plantar wart, even if it's caused by one of the strains of the human papillomavirus that's generally associated with plantar warts. (If you're asking if it's possible for the virus to spread from a plantar wart to other locations on the body: yes, that's possible. But it wouldn't be CALLED a plantar wart; if it appeared on the palm, for instance, it would be a palmar wart.)
After you have had freezing treatment to a wart, it should fall off within 2 weeks. If the wart does not fall off by itself in 2 weeks, then you should visit your doctor so he/she can remove it for you.
Physicians should be consulted if there are no signs of progress after a month of self treatment.
