Either the cam gear or distributor gear are completely worn out or the more probable. The gear on the distributor is installed using a roll pin. It's possible this is worn out and broken.

The easiest way to check timing gear (be it only gears, gears with chain or even sprockets with belt) is to open the distributor cap and place it out of the way so the distributor rotor can be seen. Next, using a socket on the crankshaft center bolt, rotate the engine in the direction it normally turns just about 30 degrees. Now mark with a crayon(or anything you have handy) the position of the distributor rotor to the base where the cap belongs and mark the crankshaft pully to engine block in an area easily visible. Finally, rotate the engine BACKWARDS very slowly until you see the distributor rotor begin to move...STOP right there. Now you'll look at the separation of the marks you made on the crank pully and block. If the distance is a lot (10 degrees or more) things are getting sloppy in there. At 25 deg or more, do a surgical/visual inspection, something's going to break.

bmx's are made for trick and stunts and only have one gear & they don't have suspention they are also smaller , mountain bikes are more for terrain because they have gears and suspention and are a bigger

It is a crankshaft sensor / cam position sensor correlation error. In otherwords the sensor in your distributor that reports the position of the cam shaft and the crankshaft position sensor behind the harmonic balancer are not in synch. The most common cause is a distributor being removed and replaced a bit off. Second would be wear of the distributor gear and third would be excessive slack/wear of the timing chain and gears. last but not least would be a bad sensor or wires from the sensor. If you have had the distributor removed for any reason re doing that at top dead center is reccomended. If not check the distributor gear for wear. You can test for wear by turning the distributor counter clockwise a degree or two and see if the code goes away. If this test is successfull replace the gear soon as it also drives your oil pump!! This is done properly with a scan tool that can report cam position while running at 1,200 rpm it should be 0.
