In many music, the Trombone does the rhythm of the brass instruments because the trombone is lower pitched than the trumpets, it often does the same rhythms as the Baritone Saxophone, I was told that by my music teacher at school because I play the trombone in the school band and I am the only trombone player and have to fight my way through the loud trumpets being the only trombone.
