I'm having the same problem and from what I understand we are not the only ones. There is a problem with the ABS sensor in the wheels and it is a widespread issue with most Pacifica owners. Possibly the brake light switch is bad. I had a recall on a Ford Taurus that spoke of this problem. The brake light switch releases a solenoid that holds the shifter in park.
