There are a lot of different uses for it. It is also known as a flash drive, memory stick, zip drive, and key disk. Just putting that out there. It can be used to store documents if you are in school or moving a file from one computer to another. It can be used as virtual memory to speed up your computer. It can be used to save and run programs and software. It has many uses, and it does what it should for a very low cost. I highly recommend one if you haven't already purchased one.

A flash drive can securely store data, application files, and software files. They are also used for system administration and can carry applications without installing them on your computer. Flash drives can be used in arcades to transfer high scores, screenshots, combos and dance edits throughout sessions. Certain value-added sellers are now using flash drives as a backup medium. When a business closes each night, a jump drive (flash drive) is inserted and a database backup is saved to the drive. It can also be left there throughout the business day, regularly updating data.
