The truths that Hinduism addresses include the nature of God and Man, the nature of the Universe, and the purpose of Life. The nature of God is that of Brahman, the unmanifest Supreme Consciousness behind everything that exists. God takes the forms of Brahma, Vishnu, Siva, Durga, Kali, Saraswati, and millions of others, but only one God exists behind all of the faces. The nature of Man is to realize that within him, part of the Divine exists (as in all aspects of creation) that is called the atman -- when Man realizes this and through yoga returns to his Origin (God) he becomes one with his source and achieve moksha, liberation from the cycle of death and rebirth. The Bhagavad Gita is the most concise explanation of the fundamental truths behind Hniduism - it is the account (taken from the larger work, the Mahabharata) of Lord Krishna (a human incarnation of God) answering the broad cosmological (and theological) questions of Arjuna (who stands in for everyman).
"The Truth is One, though sages call it by many names."
Hinduism is a religion, not a language. If you mean Hindi, then Satya means truth.
Hindu is a religion, not an ethnicity.
Humans are loyal to what they are surrounded by, no matter if it's 'right' or 'wrong', it's ultimately always going to (most likely) be right to that individual. Especially with religion, there is not necessarily any way to disprove any faith since it is a very broad concept and is belief not knowledge. Therefor, anyone can presume that their religion is the "ultimate truth".
