Every Caribbean cruise I have been on requires the passenger to use the ship's own credit card for onboard purchases, including beverages, shore excursions, photographs, etc. The passenger gives the purser either a personal credit card or any chosen amount of cash to cover these onboard purchases. This transaction is done at the very beginning of the cruise. On some cruises, this ship's card is also the room key. On every ship, this card must be shown when leaving and returning to the ship while it is docked at any port.
because without stability the ship is not sea worthy and most likely to capcize. stability is the ability of a ship to keep the ship always in the upright position.
reloading ship to ship
People who take off valuable parts of a broken or abandon ship.
A ship that weighs 1,000 pounds displaces 1,000 pounds of water. Basically you are making a hole in the water that would take 1,000 pounds of water to fill, if it was Jell-o you could see the hole when you took the ship out. If you add 100 pounds of weight to the ship, be it feathers, foam, or lead, it will sink deeper and displace 100 more pounds of water.
