No offense, but I dont think you are looking at a REVOLVER. A revolver has a round cylinder with individual chambers that turns when you cock it. I believe you are looking at a PISTOL, or semiauto, that has a slide which moves front to rear when you cock it. In this case the odds are it is referring to a semi-auto.
