If you are in the US and the barrel is less than 18 inches long or the overall length of the pistol is less than 26 inches, it is 'worth' ten years in a federal detention facility unless you have papers showing it was originally manufactured in this configuration and was registered with the BATF in 1934 (or during an amnesty period in 1964) and the registration has been transfered to you. If it meets the minimum length requirements, it might retail for $100-$150. If it is a registered shorter version, perhaps $150-$200.
