While researching this for my Dad I ran across another site where the value was listed as $100 dollars for one in fair to good condition.

I don't agree, as it has more value to me. Some nice engraving on the receiver, and parts that keep working. It's worth what you think it is.

They are worth more than that. Do some searches. No matter what condition they are not worth much, monetarily. Sometimes value includes much more than $$. They are reliable, dependable guns. The long recoil design is still in use today in the Franchi 48AL, and it worked fine for nearly 100 years in the Browning A-5 and the Remington model 11.

Sad to say, these shotguns don't command a premium. They're a little on the heavy side, a lot on the ugly side, and lack any great stories or history to go with them. Mine shoots great, but the going price for these great little shooters hardly ever breaks the 150 mark. I sure can't figure out why, 'cause that's a cheap price considering alternative automatic prices. By the way I hear they were produced between 1948 and 1959. Hope this helps. Check out GunBroker.com to see what they're going for.
