Assuming the coin is circulated, the 1869 Liberty Head Double eagle is a lower mintage coin with very few Mint State examples known. For an accurate assessment of value the coin needs to be seen and graded. Most coins show a lot of wear. In general retail values for low grade coins are $1,480.00-$1,520.00, better grade are $1,580.00-$1,790.00 and coins showing almost no wear run from $1,970.00-$4,750.00. Values are a market average and only for coins in collectible condition, coins that are bent, corroded, scratched or have been cleaned have far less value if any to a collector or dealer
Please look at the coin again. The first Morgan was struck in 1878. A silver dollar dated 1869 would be a Liberty Seated dollar and none were struck at the New Orleans Mint.
About $25 in G-4 condition, $60 in F-12, and $135 in VF-20.
A 1840cc Liberty Seated is counterfeit. Carson City Mint was built in 1869 and struck coins from 1870 to 1893
Quoting the value for the 1869 Series One Dollar Bill depends on the condition and the printed serial number. Contacting a specialist in old currency is recommended to acquire an accurate value.
I don't believe that Thomas Jefferson ever appeared on a twenty dollar bill. Andrew Jackson has been the portrait on the US twenty dollar bill since 1928. Jefferson does appear on the two dollar bill, and has since 1918 (and also from 1869 to 1874).
