AFAIK there were no silver certificates issued bearing the 1890 date. Could you please provide more information including a brief description of the note?
I am told there were no 1890 $1 silver certificates. I beg to differ! I have one clearly stating " Silver Certificate" dated 1890. It states " one silver dollar" Lincoln & Grant on face. Back of bill says " silver certificate" top center and bottom.

Please post a new question and include the series date and condition of the bill.
It depends greatly on the year and condition. But all of them are worth at least a dollar or so over face.
