What is World War 1 Commemorative worth
My name is Harold Stilley and I have a 1928 world war copper medal. I would like to know the value of this medal.
It's not a coin, it's a commemorative token. August von Mackensen was a colonel-general (sort of like a field marshall) in the Imperial German Army during WWI. The inscription translates roughly as "On the battlefield, Christmas 1917" so it clearly is some kind of campaign or service memento. I'm not a token/medal collector, so I can't assign a value. Maybe some of the other Farmers could help - ??
Actual cash value for the "Purple Heart" is around $35.00. The sentimental value and Honor of having one is "Priceless"!
100 euro
No
If it's the 3-piece set with the proof $5.00 gold piece value is $350.00 Or the 2 -piece coin and medal set value is $40.00 And last is the "Young Collector" set value is $15.00
A Centenary of Newcastle (1797-1897) silver medal/medallion, depending on condition, could fetch anything from $10 to $50 AUD. A reputable coin dealer will be able to give a more accurate valuation.

to get a value, you must have it professionally appraised.
100-2000 USD
Current value is about $7
Don't quote me, but I think that they are a full ounce of pure silver. Therefore, they have a melting value equal to the market price for an ounce. I don't think that they have any value above that of the material, but I am no expert. If you find out something better, please post it.
