Answer1920 is not considered a rare date for Buffalo nickels.

In average circulated condition, it's worth about a dollar.

If the buffalo has a complete and strongly defined horn, it's worth about $10.00

AnswerValue depends on condition, and if it has a "D" or "S" mintmark on the back (at the bottom, below the FIVE CENTS).

Online Grading Guide : http://www.coincentric.com/GradingIndianHeadNickels.htm

Values :

No Mintmark : G=$1 -- F=$2 -- XF=$10 -- UNC=$40

"D" Mintmark : G=$5 -- F=$25 -- XF=$200 -- UNC=$400

"S" Mintmark : G=$3 -- F=$20 -- XF=$150 -- UNC=$375

If there's no letter under the words FIVE CENTS on the back, it's worth about $1 in worn condition, up to $4 if only moderately worn.

If there's an "S" under FIVE CENTS, the range is $4 to $25.

If there's a "D", $8 to $35.

Note that the coin is a nickel rather than "nickle"

The value of a 1920 Indian head nickel can vary depending on its condition and rarity. However, as of now, the average value for a circulated 1920 Indian head nickel is around $2 to $5. Uncirculated coins in good condition can be worth more.
