If the coin is uncirculated or almost uncirculated it could be worth a good deal more. Look to see if there is a small D or S mint mark letter above the DO in DOLLAR on the back. Retails values:

No mint mark - $24 to $1000 depending on quality
"D" - $38 to $1300
"S" - $34 to $9000

Like the 1999 Anthony dollar coin, the design was revived for a single year after a long hiatus solely because the new replacement design (Peace / Sacagawea) wasn't ready in time to meet the legal requirements for maintaining $1 coin production. Almost 86 million new Morgans were struck that year, making it by far the most common date. 1921 was also the only year that Morgan dollars were struck at Denver, because that Mint opened in 1906 after the denomination was suspended in 1904.
