Retail values for this coin in average circulated condition are $5.00-$15.00. Better circulated coins are $35.00-$75.00 and coins showing light to slight wear run $80.00-$110.00. Values are a market average and only for coins in collectible condition, coins that are bent, corroded, scratched, used as jewelery or have been cleaned have far less value if any to a collector or dealer.
About $4.25.
Retail value for a circulated coin is $3.85 to $4.35 depending on conditon, uncirculated is $4.50 to $5.25
No D or S indicates that it was minted in Philadelphia. It's worth 25 cents.

It's the Denver mint mark, indicating where it was made. And does not add to the value it's just a quarter

As of mid-2010 they're worth about $3.25 for their silver content but some dates and mint marks could be worth much more to a collector. Check for a mint mark under the bow of the wreath on the back (D, S, or nothing) and look for a previously-answered question in the formWhat is the value of a US quarter?for example, What is the value of a 1945 US quarter?
It's a common date, so it's only worth its silver melt value. At present, it's worth about $5.70.
A 1999 P US quarter is worth a book value of $0.30. No one will pay you more than 25 cents for this coin though since they are so common. My advice is to save the D quarters from the state years. These are not as common as a P coin.
