It depends on the bill's condition and series letter. Bills with that date were issued in a "series" that actually lasted into the mid-1950s. Letter were put after the date to indicate the treasury secretary who was in office at the time a particular run was printed.

You can find a range of values at: http://www.uscurrencyauctions.com/$1notes.htm

Also, remember that the motto was not added to bills until the late 1950s, in large measure as a response to so-called "godless communism" in the Soviet Union. Earlier bills without the motto are standard issue and are not errors.

What is the value of a 1934 US silver certificate without In God We Trust?

The value of a 1934 US silver certificate without "In God We Trust" can vary depending on factors such as condition, rarity, and demand from collectors. Generally, these notes are worth more than a standard 1934 silver certificate with "In God We Trust," but specific valuations would require further examination and research.

What is the value of a US silver certificate without In God We Trust?

Please post a new, separate question with the bill's date and denomination. The motto "In God We Trust" wasn't added to silver certificates until 1957, shortly before that form of paper money was discontinued, and then only on $1 bills. Nine denominations of silver certificates without the motto were printed over the prior 80 years, so its absence is not an identifying factor.

What is the value of a 5 dollar silver certificate series 1953A without the in god we trust on the back worth?

As you can tell from looking at any modern coin or bill, the motto is In God We Trust, so I updated your question accordingly. That motto was added to bills starting in the late 1950s so your bill is not an error, it's just too early to have the motto. Regardless of the series letter, a circulated 1953 $5 silver certificate is worth (at retail) face value to $8 depending on its condition.

Is your 1934 silver certificate worth more without god you trust on the back?

To clear things up: > As you can tell from the coins and bills in your pocket, the motto is In God WE Trust rather than "you" > The motto wasn't added to bills until 1957 so your bill doesn't have an error. Please see the Related Question for more information.

There were no one dollar silver certificates issued with that date. If you mean 1935 D, the value would range from $2 to $10 depending on condition. The motto In God We Trust did not start appearing on currency until the 1950s, fuelled in part by the so-called "Red Scare" of "Godless communism".
