1949 is a special year for Canadian dollars because it was a Newfoundland commemorative dollar.

There were a surprisingly small amount of them made, BUT there are still alot available. I see them sell anywhere from $10.00 to $200.00 depending on condition.

Hope this helps,

A 1947 Canadian dime features an image of the ship called the Bluenose so it is sometimes called a "Bluenose dime". Because of the value in the metal, it is worth at least a dollar and a half. Depending on its condition, these dimes can be worth upwards of twenty dollars.
