August 5, 2009 The 1952 Lincoln cent was produced at 3 US Mints: Philadelphia which is shown as 1952-P in this list, Denver which is shown as 1952-D in this list and San Francisco which is shown in this list as 1952-S. To determine which coin you have it is necessary to locate the mint mark. This mark consists of a small letter located on the obverse [heads] side of the coin just below the date. A letter "D" is for Denver. A letter "S" is for San Francisco. If the is no letter, the coin was minted at Philadelphia. The circulated and uncirculated values for these coins are shown in the following list. Circulated Grades..........1952-P........1952-D.........1952-S G4....................................$.02............$.02..............$.02 VF30................................$.03.............$.03..............$.03 AU55................................$.15.............$.15..............$.15 Uncirculated Grades MS 60................................$5.................$5.................$5 MS63.................................$9.................$9.................$9 MS64.................................$15...............$12...............$12 MS65.................................$25...............$20...............$20 MS66.................................$275.............$42...............$45 MS67.................................$5500...........$1250...........$625 These coins in the high uncirculated grades are scarce.
