MIA is Greek for ONE, Your first a in Apaxmh, is in fact a Greek letter Delta, ΔΡΑΧΜΗ drachma. What is it worth? Best bet is to go to e-bay, Collectables, coins & paper money, world coins, Europe, Greece, and from there search. Unless the coin is in "like new" condition, it won't be worth more than a US$1 or 2
It sounds like you're referring to a 1 Drachma coin (George I on front, and Thetis on a seahorse holding a shield on back?).
In circulated condition, the value is anywhere from about $9 to $60 - but if it's uncirculated, this coin can retail from $470 to $800 depending on actual grade.
Brought mine to a coin shop today, clerk said he would give me 25cents for it..
Worth more as something cool to have.
in the year of 2012 it is worth $50.00
in good condition 800 $.

In 1976, Greece issued a 2 drachma coin with the head of goddess Athena. These coins are usually worth minimal value due to their low denomination and common circulation. The value of the coin may vary, but it is typically worth its face value or slightly more to coin collectors.
