Uh, JFK wasn't elected president till November 1960. U.S. coins NEVER carry the image of a president while they are in office. JFK's picture wasn't put on the half dollar until after his death. The first ones are dated 1964.
Please check again and post a new question with the coin's date and design. A genuine 1960 half dollar has a picture of Ben Franklin on it. Retail values are in the $6-7 range for its silver content.
