Any circulated US cent, dime, nickel or quarter dated 1970 will be worth only its face value, except for a "small date" 1970-S cent. These are identifiable by a 7 that's almost the same size as the 0, rather than having a long descending tail.
Uncirculated versions of these coins will be worth more but you need to be more specific by posting a new question with the coins' dates and mint marks.
1970 half dollars were only issued in collectors' sets.
The 1970 Uncirculated US Mint Set is valued at $18.
Only the 1970-S has the small date, not the 1970 or 1970-D. Retail values for circulated coins run from $9.00-$18.00 and mint state coins are $20.00-$57.00 depending on grade and color of the coin.
From what country? The U.S. did not issue any dollar coins for circulation between 1936 and 1970 inclusive.
August 4, 2009 The 1970 Washington Quarter is among the common coins of the USA. As an uncirculated coin it must be in a higher grade to be worth more than $1-$2. As the grade nears a perfect MS70 a value of $600 could be seen. Coins in this grade are scarce.
1970-D halves were not struck for circulation so I have to assume someone broke open a large number of Mint Sets and removed the coins from their original packaging. That may reduce their value somewhat but they might still retail for as much as $6 each.
No US mint struck any steel coins in 1970.

$15 to $50 depending upon the variety.
Before 1970, half dollars had silver in them, but in 1970, they used no silver in the coins, so it is worth only $0.50.

Any coins from Ireland, which will have Éire on the rear, that are between 1970 and 2002 have very little value. One Irish pound, known as a punt, was made up of 100 pence. The punt was replaced by the euro as the currency in Ireland in 2002. A punt would be worth about $1.88 so if your coins are only in pence, they are worth even less. Many Irish homes would still have lots of coins from that time so they would have no value as a collector's item.

None of the Eisenhower dollar coins regardless of date or mintmark struck for general circulation contain any silver or have more than face value. Only proof and uncirculated collectors coins sold from the US Mint are worth more.
No one dollar US coins were made in 1970, 1971 was first year for the Eisenhower dollar and most are face value only.
The 1970 Cinco centavo coin is worth approximately $1.15. The value has much to do with the fact that more than one million coins were minted.
