If your 1971 coin is a uncirculated example it may be worth about $5.00 because the 1971 issue coins were not included in the Uncirculated Mint sets sold from the Mint in that year. None of the Eisenhower dollars regardless of date or mintmark struck for general circulation have any silver and most are not worth more than face value. Only proof and uncirculated collectors coins sold from the Mint have premiums.
The US has never made a one dollar coin with JFK on it. If it is a dollar coin with the date of 1971 the portrait is of Eisenhower. Post new question.
The coin has NO silver and is face value
The coin is still in circulation today and has face value only
The coin is still in circulation today, has no silver and is face value only.
No such coin exists. Silver dollars were last minted for circulation in 1935, and the last silver dollar sized coin was the Eisenhower dollar of 1971-1978, there was no dollar coin minted in 1967.

No one dollar US coins were made in 1970, 1971 was first year for the Eisenhower dollar and most are face value only.
If it's not proof or a very high mint state coin, it's face value
a dollar
With a date of 1971 the coin is not a silver eagle it's a Eisenhower dollar with a value of $1.00 for coins found in circulation.. Only collectors coins sold from the US Mint have a premium above face value.
value of 1845 us five dollar coin
1971 dated halves are still in circulation today. The coin is made of copper-nickel, not silver, and is only worth face value.
Sorry, no US dollar coins exist dated 1964. Eisenhower first appeared on the dollar coin in 1971. The coin is likely a 1964 Kennedy HALF dollar. Look at the coin again and post new question.
