I've researched this today & According to several coin collecting Web sites, all bicentennial coin denominations are only worth face-value. I'm hanging onto mine though (quarters, half dollars & dollars). Pass them on. I'm sure one day they'll be worth a lot!
The US did not make bicentennial pennies like they did with the quarter, half dollar, and dollar coin.

The US didn't mint a Lincoln half-dollar for the nation's Bicentennial nor was there a half dollar minted for Lincoln's bicentennial, so you most likely have a privately-minted coin. All US Bicentennial half dollars have JFK's portrait on the front along with the dual dates 1776-1976. The reverse side has an image of Independence Hall.
Check that coin again. Eisenhower was on the DOLLAR, and Kennedy is on the HALF. Either way, bicentennial coins are extremely common and only worth face value.
Please check your coin again. President Eisenhower was on the $1 coin issued during the Bicentennial. JFK was (and is) on the half dollar.
