According to many sources the value of a 2003 Mustang Cobra in excellent condition would be approximately around $13,300. This is considering that it is a coupe and not a convertible and that it has all of the factory settings.

The value of a 73 is dependant on many, many things. Condition, caliber, year of manugacture, provenance, special factory options....and on and on. For example, I have a 73 standard rifle in 44/40 cal rated excellent plus condition with the factory tang site and optional front site. Apprx worth is somewhere around $10,000 give or take $5,000. In other words, it is worth what someone wants to pay for it and how bad they want it at the time.

Made in 1976, its value won't exceed about $300 in excellent condition unless it has unusual factory features.
It all starts with condition; i.e. bluing and stock finish etc. If everything is "as it left the factory" (i.e. no modifications to sights, stock, or metal) and is "as new" condition, the value would be $500-$600 to a Remington collector. If not, its value goes down dramatically from there, based on its condition. 257 Roberts is not a rare caliber in the 788 but it has a good "cult" following today and that would add maybe $50. to its value, as a "shooter", over some of the other common calibers. "shooter" 788s sell for between $250-$450, again depending on condition, condition, condition.
