The value of a 1992 Denver Mint souvenir set depends on its condition. This set in excellent condition is valued between 199.99 and 275.00 as of 2014.
It's not a coin it's a mint medal. Its out of a souvenir set from the Denver mint. The sets are only sold at the gift shoppes at the Denver & Philadelphia mints.

The value of denver mint souvenir sets vary greatly from year to year. this is because mintage varied depending upon how many sets were sold each year at the mint's gift shop (the only place to buy them, not sold by mail from 71-72 through 1998). right now the 1982 and 1983 sets sell generally in the $35 to $50 range because there were no regular mint sets sold in those years. The 1972 denver mint set is really difficult to find and I have seen only one on Ebay in last year. Sets in the 90s usually sell in the high 20s while you can get a 1978 or 1979 set for a couple of bucks. The 1976 set sells for more because its bicentennial mintage and there is also a San Francisco souvenir set that year. The latter has been selling around $10 to $15 or more if you can find one. Generally, it is believed circulation ranged from 10,000 to 22,000 in many of the years.
Certainly priceless since there was no Denver until 1858 and no US Mint in Denver until 1879. It had to be left by a space traveler from another dimension. (Or perhaps it was recently struck as a novelty item and has no value.)
9 BILLION (Excluding "Proof" coins) 4.6 are from the Philadelphia Mint. 4.4 are from the Denver Mint.
Denver Mint was created in 1862.
Please check again and post a new question. The Denver Mint opened in 1906.
The issue price of the 1992 U.S. Mint sets was $7.00. The 2006 value of this set was $8.00. Current value is $6.00.
The "D" Mint Mark identifies the Denver Mint. There were no one cent coins minted in Denver in that year; they were all made either in San Francisco ( S Mint Mark), or in Philadelphia ( no Mint Mark). Double-check your coin with a strong magnifying glass.
The Denver Mint never struck any Indian Head cents and 1909 was the year of issue. Post new question.
It's worth 50 cents.
Please look at the mintmark again. The Denver Mint did not exist in 1896. Post new question.
