In general, copper-nickel circulation ones are only worth $1 to $1.10. If you have anything else please post a new question.
If your asking about a American Silver Eagle $1 bullion coin the current value is about $30.00.
A recent coin would be unlikely to have any collector value. The current exchange rate for a Jamaican dollar is about 1.3 US cents, that's all.
It's a bullion coin sold for its silver content, as of today 1-20-11 value is about $27.00
The US didn't make any $1 coins from 1936 to 1970 inclusive. Please check the back of your coin - it's a HALF dollar.
$1 if it is a Sacajawea Dollar, the coins aren't actually gold but rather an alloy of copper and brass making them be worth simply $1. The value of the actual materials inside the coin is around 6 cents. They aren't rare and hold no special collector value.
One dollar.
Please check your coin again. President Eisenhower was on the $1 coin issued during the Bicentennial. JFK was (and is) on the half dollar.
Generally only face value. If it is uncirculated or proof it will be worth more.
The US has never made a one dollar coin with JFK on it. If it is a dollar coin with the date of 1971 the portrait is of Eisenhower. Post new question.
Eisenhower dollars were struck from 1971 to 1978
It depends on the year, mintmark and condition of the coin. There is no set "Liberty" dollar coins since all dollar coins prior to the introduction of the Eisenhower dollar in 1971 show a personification of Liberty. Their value depends greatly on the specifics of the coin and range anywhere from $1 (circulated common Eisenhower dollar) to $1 million+ (well-preserved flowing hair dollars, 1804 dollars)
That's EISENHOWER, but it can't be a half dollar or it can't be Gen. Eisenhower's picture because he was on the $1 coin that year. JFK is on the half dollar. In either case, both coins are made of copper-nickel and are only worth face value.
Please check your coin again. LBJ was never on a US $1 coin. All $1 coins minted from 1971 to 1978 carry a picture of President Eisenhower.
It's still only worth 1 dollar.
Face value only, unless it's a proof coin in its original holder. Retail for that coin is about $4. Face value only. It's made of copper-nickel, not silver. You must be in possession of an Eisenhower Dollar - a coin that was minted in 1977 that is in a mint state of MS63, is worth: $5.00.
President Dwight D. Eisenhower
