It depends on the year, mintmark and condition of the coin.
There is no set "Liberty" dollar coins since all dollar coins prior to the introduction of the Eisenhower dollar in 1971 show a personification of Liberty. Their value depends greatly on the specifics of the coin and range anywhere from $1 (circulated common Eisenhower dollar) to $1 million+ (well-preserved flowing hair dollars, 1804 dollars)
1971-1978 US One Dollar coins are EISENHOWER dollars not Liberty dollars. The coins struck for circulation are face value only.
Post new question. All US coins have the word LIBERTY on them. Also for 1999 there are two different one dollar coins. One is the SBA copper-nickel coin, the other is a large ASE silver coin.
If the coin has the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM above Liberty's Head it's a Morgan dollar and the value is $14.00-$19.00 for a circulated coin. If the coin has the word Liberty above her head it's a Peace dollar and the value for a circulated coins $80.00-$175.00 Both coins are dated 1921
Please look at the coin again. No U.S. one dollar coins are dated 1906. Post new question.
Washington has never been on a silver dollar. An 1865 U.S. silver dollar is one of the Liberty Seated series of coins.
Two different one dollar coins were made in 1921. One is a Morgan dollar the other is a Peace dollar, they have very different values. The Peace dollar is the one with the higher value, this coin does have the word LIBERTY on the front above "Miss Liberty's" head and has a low value of about $75.00 in collectible condition, the Morgan has the national motto E PLURIBUS UNUM and is only worth about $30.00
If the coin has the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM above Liberty's Head it's a Morgan dollar and the value is $14.00-$19.00 for a circulated coin. If the coin has the word Liberty above her head it's a Peace dollar and the value for a circulated coins $80.00-$175.00 Both coins are dated 1921
One dollar
No one dollar coins were made in 1943 and no "Dancing Liberty" designs have ever be used. The coin is a 1943 Walking Liberty Half Dolllar that is very common and most are valued at $7.00-$9.00
If the coin is dated 1811 and has a denomination of One Dollar it's not a US coin. No US Dollar coins were struck in 1811
yes the new one dollar coins do
Unfortunately none of the bicentennial coins made for general circulation are worth more than face value.
