The Sacagawea design was issued in 2000. To the best of my knowledge no coins have ever been reported that are missing the motto, which is on the obverse (front) of the coin to the left of Sacagawea's hair.

Perhaps you are confusing this with the 2007 presidential dollar series where the motto, date, and mint mark are incused on the coins' edge. Some coins were accidentally not sent through the edge press and so do not carry those inscriptions. These have bounced around in value quite a bit but seem to have settled in the $30 to $50 range, at least as of a few weeks ago.

Two notes:

First, the coins are golden in color, not gold. They're made of a manganese-nickel-copper alloy that just looks golden.

Second, in case anyone tells you these are "Godless" coins, the entire inscription is missing, not just the motto. There is NO EVIDENCE WHATSOEVER to support the "conspiracy theory" that this error was an intentional attempt to remove a reference to God.
