The Royal Mint advises that the 2011 50 Pence coins have been released slowly into circulation since October, 2010.
Unless they are part of a Proof or Uncirculated mint set or are individual Proof or Uncirculated coins and in absolute mint condition, they are worth 50 Pence.

The Royal Mint has issued six commemorative coins for 2011 in addition to the usual eight circulating coins.
The six commemoratives include -
1 x Five Pound coin - Prince Phillip 90th Birthday
2 x Two Pound coins - The King James Bible and the 500th Anniv of the Mary Rose
2 x One Pound coins - Capital cities series - Cardiff and Edinborough
1 x 50 Pence coin - 50th Anniv World Wide Fund for Nature
The coins will be available in Proof sets and individually as Mint Uncirculated. Some coins are already available for sale.
There have also been 2011 coins for the the London 2012 Olympic games already released into circulation.
These coins are still in circulation so, unless they are part of a Proof or Uncirculated mint set or are individual Proof or Uncirculated coins and in absolute mint condition, they are worth 1 Penny.
