I can say that these revolvers were made from 1911-1935.I do not believe that the serial numbers are available in the public domain. The value of these revolvers is between 50-100 dollars, for a firearm having between 60%-90% of its original finish remaining, and a good bore.
I have a 32 caliber hammerless Iver Johnson serial 45158 with a 3 inch barrel how do i find out about it
Between $5 and $50 unless it has unusual features.
A Colt 1908 hammerless .25 with that serial number was made in 1914.
A Colt 1908 hammerless .25 with that serial number was made in 1912
A Colt 1908 hammerless .25 with that serial number would be 90 years old. Made in 1920.
100-400 usd
if it's a 380 caliber then made about 1924
It sounds to me that you have a Model 1908 hammerless model in .25cal.your serial number would indicate that this pistol was made in the year 1919.
I show a Colt 1908 hammerless .25 with that serial number as being made in 1920, so it would be 91 years old.
That Colt .32 hammerless was made in 1924.
Model numbers didn't start unitl @ 1957. It it has one it will be inside the crane area.
Without knowing the model and caliber, we can't tell. A serial number ALONE does not identify a gun.
