I will assume this is a first year production Model 1894. If this is true, then the firearm could be quite valuable. Condition & rare configurations can make a huge difference in value. A standard grade firearm, with no extras, in very good condition should bring $2500 to $3000 to a knowledgeable seller. Higher condition guns in a delux grade can cause the value to skyrocked. Because you are asking this question I will assume you are not a knowledgeable seller, if this is the case you might consider contacting someone who is (not your corner gunshop).
100-1000 USD
In the year 1898.
About $600 unless in REALLY GOOD original condition with only light marks on the stock.
The collector value can only be assessed by a visual inspection & evaluation. Old Winchesters are very much like old classic automobiles... the graded condition and factory originality are the key factors in determining what they are truly worth. Bert H.
Value depends on condtion, how bad you want to sell it, how bad someone wants to buy it, what caliber it is, any accessories, the box, original papers, etc.. Range from 200-500 USD.
Provide me with the serial numbers and I can tell you when they were made. Or, if the serial numbers are <354,000, you can also contact the Cody Firearms Musuem and purchase a factory letter which will give you the exact date it was received in the warehouse from the assembly room. Bert H.
