Scott US#2171

This stamp was first issued in 1986 as part of the definitive series of Great Americans. It can be purchased online from a dealer for 15 cents used and 25 cents mint. The nominal price indicates that it is of little value and a dealer is not want to buy one copy.

Just for the record, this stamp is cataloged in Scott as number 2171. The listed value is $0.20 for either used or mint. It was printed between 1986-94.

True market value of this stamp is much lower than the catalog value (as $0.20 is the minimum listed for any stamp).

This stamp is very common in both mint and used conditions. The value wouldn't be anything more than the face value of $0.04.

United States Scott #1848. You can purchase a used copy for 15 cents. A mint, or unused, copy would be 50 cents.
This would be Scott number 2171 and was part of the 1986-1994 Great American series. A mint copy will cost you about 25 cents and the minimal 15 cent value used.
