Hi, I purchased a Colt Cobra with a 2" barrel in very good to excellent condition in 2006. Mine was manufactured in 1969 and it has an exposed ejector rod. I paid $350 for it. I love it. Many experts consider it to be the best concealed carry wheelgun ever produced. I have added a set of Eagle secret service grips to mine as I found the stock grips to be too small for my large hands. The stock grips allowed the Cobra to rock back in my hand when firing, slamming the rear of the trigger guard into my second finger with every shot. Short barreled aluminum frame snubbies tend to be a bit jumpy even with mild factory loads. The Eagle grips cured the problem. I don't regret the decision to purchase it for a moment. The Cobra is very well made and functions beautifully. In the original box a Cobra would fetch about $450. I have a chart listing year of manufacture by serial number. I could not match your serial number. Maybe you stated it wrong. In any case, the range would be $350 to $450. Hope that helps. Owen
Need a detailed description of all markings and features and the serial number.
Impossible to answer without knowing who made it.
Samuel Colt invented the first revolver. I'm not sure if it was a six shot but he invented the first revolver.
No more than 50 USD. For that, it would need to be NIB with all paperwork and a perfect box.
It is a Smith & Wesson, possibly a model 17 K-22 Masterpiece. They were made from 1947-1993 (in the blued version shown in your photo) and are extremely good target guns.
