I've been doing a bit of research since I came into possession of volumes I & II. It really depends on what condition your volume is in, but I've learned it's apparently a fairly rare collection of illustrations taken from 11 books written by Gibson. Gibson was America's most popular artist-illustrator at the time, and as such, many people find a lot of value in his work.

I've seen eBay listings and other auction sites selling both volumes for between $200-$500, depending on the condition. It would probably be in your best interest to bring it to a local antiques dealer...or at least, that's what I plan on doing. Hope this helps!
