Depends on YOUR derringer. The original Deringer (notice one D for the original?) was a brand of single shot muzzle loading pistol that used a round lead ball. Derringers (2 D's if not referring to the original) may fire anything from .17 HMR to .410 shotshells.

Seventeen Again is full of cliches whereas Fired Up is quite fresh and original. Unfortunately, however, Fired Up doesn't really have a strong plot.
