First, value of any gun will be based on EXACT make, model and condition. Second- some guns sell so rarely, there is really no good "book" value. Research can show what a similar gun HAS sold for, but not what a similar gun WILL sell for. Bottom line- you will need a hands on appraisal from a company that knows antique rifles.
Requires professional appraisal.
The Wesson part of Smith and Wesson.
Wesson made a few different types

It looks like pictures I have seen of a "Frank Wesson 1860 rifle" (at http://buffaloclassic.tripod.com/). The numbers "3236" are stamped inside the shaft of the stock where the barrel fits; the barrel is about 23.5 inches long and the stock is about 22 inches.
Impossible to answer. Requires hands on appraisal
The pat. dates you gave are a std. stamp used by Wesson on all of his guns, the 59 date covers the barrel stop and the 62 date coves the barrel stop both for his riffles. Now to get to the value,I eould have to know if it pistol or rifle or shotgun The best place to look would be Flayders antique book. I am AA Frank Wesson collector and have most all mod. that was made. If I can be of help to you fell free to e-mail at frank@cot .net Frank Pellett 2946 N Rd 112 Tulelake,Calif. 96134
