It's a novelty item sold by a private company that took ordinary half dollars and stamped Lincoln's image on them. It has no numismatic value but if it's dated:
- 1971 or later it's still worth 50¢
- 1965 to 1969 it's made of 40% silver and is worth a couple of dollars in melt value
- 1964 it's 90% silver and is worth about 1/3 the price of 1 oz. of silver
These items are usually sold with a card listing the "amazing coincidences" between Kennedy's and Lincoln's presidencies. While some of them are a bit eerie, many others are truly amazing because they require stretching historical facts.
