Would like to know the value of a 1300 stainless marine 12 gauge shotgun. Fired 5 rounds. Purchased new 1985. Shell capacity 6-23/4or 5-3" .Barrel length 18", Overall length 385/8". Length of pull 14",drop at comb 13/8", drop at heel 23/4" Approx wgt 7 lbs...add one pound for shell in chamber. Excellent condition..
Your gun with the elg proofmark would put it made around 1894. It is not suitable to fire modern rounds. In good shape it is worth about $100 and around $250 in excellent condition.
depends if you properly broke the barrel ln, and how many rounds you put through it with proper cool down. magnum cartridges such as the 7mm and 300 win mag will start to break down the rifling in the barrel after 1500 rounds slowly decreasing the minute of angle accuracy you bought it with. but if it is in mint condition i would expect 550 dollars
Value is too difficult to be accurate without seeing the gun. Condition which includes the amount of original finish and original configuration will determine value. Recommend taking it to a gun shop for appraisal.
