it is worth 1 dollar unless it is in mint grade 90 condition then a collector might pay 2 bucks or so. I have seen collectors pay much more for coins well under their value though.

If you are referring to the Sacajawea "gold" dollar coins with an Indian on the front and an eagle in flight on the reverse. It is only worth $1. It is not gold, but rather an alloy of brass and has no value beyond face value.
There is no 1921 barber silver dollar, it is either a peace dollar (eagle perched on a rock engraved PEACE on the reverse) or a Morgan dollar (Eagle with gothic lettering above it saying "In God we Trust" on the reverse)
