THE NUMBER IS A PRODUCTION NUMBER NOT A MODEL NUMBER. I HAVE USED THAT NUMBER TO IDENTIFY PARTICULAR GUNS IN MY COLLECTION BUT, I AM NOT CERTAIN IT CAN BE CALLED A SERIAL NUMBER EITHER.
