The magnum is pretty scarce, they only made them for about 5 years. The asking price on them is $1200+, even with the economy in the state it's in. I can't promise you'll get that for it, I haven't seen any that actually sold at that price. Everybody's broke and a lot of folks are letting their firearms go for cheap. So good luck, and if it doesn't sell drop me a line, I'm looking for one. (marcucco@gmail.com)
yes.The Winchester model 9422M was chambered in .22WMR.
No known source of information to answer the question.
They were manufactured in .357 Magnum, .41 Magnum, .44 Remington Magnum, .440 Cor-Bon and .50 Action Express
IF a rifle is chambered in caliber .35y magnum, yes. Among others, Marlin made a lever action .357 magnum rifle.
None. the term "300 Weatherby Magnum" is not merely a brand, it IS the caliber of the cartridge (no matter who makes it) It does NOT interchange with the .300 Winchester Magnum cartridge.
Yes, several. We call that a "sister". My pair is a Winchester model 1892, and Colt Python. Both fire .38 special and 357 magnum. .44 caliber is another obvious choice along with .22cal. If you want to have real kick. You could get a Thompson center single shot pistol along with Your Winchester. both in.30/.30.
25-75 USD
The letter M after the model number 9422 indicates that your Winchester lever action rifle is chambered for the 22WMR(Winchester Magnum Rimfire) cartridge.
Yes.
Yes that's why these Winchester short magnum family of cartridges were designed.
Winchester mod 9422 XTR = 50 cm.
Yes and no. Many .300 caliber cartridges use a bullet that is actually .308 inches in diameter- such as the 30-06. However, CARTRIDGES such as the .300 Winchester Magnum are a different size/shape than the .308 Winchester cartridge- they do not interchange.
