This Crosman was made between 1972-1981. Unfortunately you did not state the condition of the Rifle. ( That determines value.) However for it to be of any value it would have to be in Near New condition, and that is only $30. If your referring to the Crosman 761xl that has the gold receiver and wood stock and pump handle, the in descent shape they are regularly going for $75.00 to $100.00 at online gun auctions, $30.00 is a way low estimate from what I see currently online. Actually a pretty cool older air rifle. When this question was first answered in July 2009 that was the value ($30). Today in Dec 2011 the top value for a 761XL is $60. Double was it was back then. So the moral of the story is "HOLD ONTO YOUR OLD AIR GUNS" they go up in value............
