This was built in 1954, How much is a grundig majestic
$50-100
There is NO SO 191 U1 for 1947. The SO 191 U or [US] was the first stereo console [very large] sold to the US beginning in 1959 and lasted thru 1960. It was Grundig's top model and also had many options. The Grundig MAJESTIC was a separate model in the SO 130 series. cheaper and more popular in the sixties. wmcmorris
About 15oo-2000 us dollars
Between 300€ and 500€ depending on whether this radio has the fm stereo decoder or not. Note that many of these radios have the "zamac" syndrom so that means that if you are lucky, you will get a model with one of the mecanical components which is made of Zamac which deteriorates with age and renders the radio useless (you won't be to switch bands anymore)... It happened with one of my 5490 radios. So be very very carefull and check the radio before buying it.
Best thing to do is look up that model on an online auction site and see what the going rate is.
I got it for $11 last week on Ebay. Radio works fine but the body is in a bad shape. http://www.ebay.com/itm/220971397956?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649#ht_719wt_1196
If fully restored and in good cosmetic condition, should go between $400-650 Deduct at least 50% if cabinet has issues. If unrestored with good cabinet worth $35-75. They are difficult and expensive to restore
The value of a Grundig CS-200MS console stereo can vary depending on its condition, age, and market demand. It is recommended to check online marketplaces or consult with vintage audio equipment experts to determine its current market value.
The value of a model 42-365K Philco radio that works and has no damage other than having a cabinet that needs refinishing can range between $400 and $700.
The value of a Zenith radio is actually dependent upon a number of factors. Some of these factors would include the age and condition of the radio.
